Get ready for a movie that is going to take you on one hell of a wild and crazy ride! Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for an insane thriller titled Cocaine Bear. The film is inspired by the insane true story of a giant 500-pound American black bear that goes on a murderous rampage after ingesting a shit-ton of cocaine after a drug runner’s plane crashes.
The movie comes from director Elizabeth Banks and the cast includes Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Kahyun Kim, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, and Scott Seiss.
Here’s the synopsis:
“Don’t coke the bear.” Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it. This wild thriller from director Elizabeth Banks finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has just ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow… and blood.
The movie looks like it’s going to be a blast! I’m pretty excited about watching this one! It looks like a totally insane story! The movie was produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and it will hit theaters on February 24th, 2023. Enjoy the trailer!
