Trailer for Netflix’s Limited Series THAI CAVE RESCUE Tells the Heroic Untold True Stories

Netflix has shared the trailer for its upcoming limited series Thai Cave Rescue, which is a drama that tells the story of the 2018 rescue mission of the youth soccer team in Thailand. Amazon recently released a movie titled Thirteen Lives, which was directed by Ron Howard. The film starred Viggo Mortenson and Colin Farrell, and it was a great and intense film!

This series will offer more in-depth untold stories that revolve around the unbelievable and intense 18-day rescue of 12 boys and their soccer coach after they were trapped inside the flooded cave of Tham Luang Nang Non. The series will also detail the intense challenges that the rescuers faced trying to get these boys out of the cave. This is a truly remarkable story.

In the series, “The world banded together in 2018 to watch anxiously and ultimately with relief as a dozen boys from youth soccer team the Wild Boars and their coach were rescued from a flooded cave in Northern Thailand. The untold perspectives of the boys on the team will take center stage in the new series, which follows their trip to the Tham Luang caves as it turns from a fun adventure into a massive and critical rescue operation.”

Thai Cave Rescue is created by Michael Russell Gunn and Dana Ledoux Miller, who are also serving as showrunners. The series was filmed entirely in Thailand, and it stars Pratya “Tiger” Patong, Songpol “Pangpon” Kantawong, Chakkapat “Junior” Sisat, Thanawut “Bank” Chetuku, Teeraphat “Gun” Somkaew, Thanaphong “Pluem” Kanthawong, Thanapat “Utha” Phungpumkaew, Apisit “Fluke” Yukam, Watcharaphol “Kim” Puangsawan, Thapanot “Nam-Ning” Huttapasu, Apisit “Chit” Saengchan and Rattaphoom “Fluke” Nakeesathid.

Additional cast includes Papangkorn “Beam” Lerkchaleampote as Coach Eak, Thaneth “Ek” Warakulnukroh as Chiang Rai governor Narongsak Osottanakorn,  Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund as Kelly, and Manatsanun “Donut” Phanlerdwongsakul as Pim.

Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu is executive producing the series and it will premiere on September 22nd.
