Action movie actor and martial artist Scott Adkins is the latest actor to jump on board John Wick: Chapter 4. The actor is currently in negotiations to join Keanu Reeves in the movie.
Adkins has starred in a ton of action films, most of them B-action movies, but he’s appeared in films such as Zero Dark Thirty, The Expendables 2, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, Ninja, Doctor Strange, Triple Threat, and more.
He will also join the previously cast Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Rina Sawayama, and Shamier Anderson. Chad Stahelski returns to direct. Adkins is currently filming Netflix’s next action-comedy Day Shift. He also starred opposite Yen in the 2019 final installment of the hit IP Man films.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is set for theatrical release on May 27, 2022. It’ll be interesting to see who Adkins ends up playing in this. Hopefully he and Reeves fight!
