Next week is D&D Live 2019: The Descent. It is sure to be a crazy time for fans of the popular tabletop roleplaying game, but what’s exciting is that we got a hint at some new products to be announced during the event. During Nathan Stewart’s (D&D Senior Director) monthly Spoiler & Swag livestream last Friday, his guest Alex Kammer gave fans a hint as to a new product set to be announced.
Supposedly, fans can expect some kind of box set with cards and dice. That clue and the great sales on the Starter Set have me wondering if this is a new/revamped Starter Set. Maybe it’ll come with some of those cool spell and/or monster cards you can buy to help players and DMs be organized.
D&D is expected to announce its next adventure for 2019 as well as three new products, one of which would be this box set. In addition, Stewart said that The Descent will end with a major announcement. What are your best theories as to what it all could be?
The Descent will run from May 17-19 in Los Angeles, California.
