Ok, so there’s a report going around about how some fans have spotted Ben Mendelsohn‘s Captain Marvel character Talos in Avengers: Endgame. Before I jump into the details, I will say that the scene he was spotted in was near the end of the film.
If you haven’t seen the movie yet, there are spoilers ahead.
After the Avengers save the world and bring back everyone who was dusted at the end of Infinity War, we get to see clips of several characters going back to live their lives.
One of the characters that these scenes focused on was Peter Parker returning to high school. Reddit user teegrez made a compelling observation about one of the background characters seen when Peter Parker walks into his school.
It’s hard to say for sure, but there is a man standing in the background high-fiving students as they walk in. A lot of fans seem to think that this person is Ben Mendelsohn’s Captain Marvel character Talos. You can watch a pirated clip of this scene here if you are interested.
Yeah, I can see the similarities, but I’m still not 100% convinced that it’s him. If it is him, though, does this mean that he will be involved with Spider-Man: Far From Home? My question is, why would Talos be back on Earth infiltrating human society again in 2023?
It would be interesting if this person in the background does end up being Talos, but there’s a good chance that it might not be him. What do you all think? Do you think this could be Talos? If so how do you think he would fit in with Spider-Man: Far From Home?
