We’ve got good news for those of us who are fans of Big Little Lies! Nicole Kidman and producer Bruna Papandrea are adapting Nine Perfect Strangers for a series at Hulu, which is based on the novel by Big Little Lies writer Liane Moriarty.
The series “takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies, but these nine strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.”
That sounds so crazy intriguing! I loved the book Big Little Lies, and I was so happy with the adaptation, and that they are even developing the series past the story of the book with the help of Moriarty. So a brand new story by this author, with Kidman at the helm sounds amazing. She writes such interesting stories about complex women and their lives. I can’t wait to see what Nine Perfect Strangers is all about.
Are you excited for this series?
