The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a demanding game and while the Nintendo Switch is powerful, many are unsure if it’s that powerful. This is why it’s amazing to think that the game may be coming to the portable console. Several Asian marketplaces have put up listings for a Nintendo Switch version of the game according to a thread on ResetEra which also says the game will be released this September.
I would take this with a giant grain of salt as rumors like this happen all the time. Some say that because multiple resellers are listing it that adds to its veracity, but I still don’t buy it. The Witcher 3 is very intensive and CD Projekt Red has been said to be focusing on Cyberpunk 2077. That being said, it is possible that a team was created for creating this port, but even then, it would most likely require a lot of downgrades in visuals, especially when being played in handheld mode. I guess we’ll find out next month though during CD Projekt Red’s E3 presentation.
